Declaration and Commitment to Service

I, Eshel Knafo, the owner, operator, manager of Like Home located at 20 Goran St., Gedera, Israel, hereby declare that:

  • I run Like Home as a for profit business.
  • Our prices are not the cheapest but never the highest in the area.
  • I will usually be the person to greet you at check-in.
  • I am responsible for the service and maintenance of the rooms.
  • I am responsible for cleaning the rooms.
  • I am the one you can/should turn to, at any time, to solve problems in the rooms, as well as for any help, guidance, services, sites, tourist attractions and general orientation in Gedera and Israel.

About our place

  • The place is not a luxurious hotel, it is a small, well-kept and growing private business.
  • We invest in the constant improvement and upgrading of the facility for the needs and well-being of our guests.
  • Our publication is authentic and current, most of the photos were taken in June 2021.
  • We do not iron bedding but definitely wash with high quality detergents.
  • We vacuum and wash the floor with plenty of water, clean the toilets and shower with effective cleaning agents.
  • Force majeure: Nothing is perfect and Dr. Murphy is hardworking, but I am available and will make an effort to answer any problem and/or help that may be needed.
  • Availability almost 24/7 on the mobile phone 054-4602080, also on WhatsApp, by email, in addition I live on a floor above the units so in case I am not available/answer you can always knock on my door and my family members will give an initial response.

On the environment

Gedera is an old settlement, we are located in the heart of the settlement in an old residential neighborhood, the units are on the ground floor of my residence, the entire area is of private residences, villas and cottages up to 2 stories, near us there is a park, Gan Bilo, which also has a playground for young children. The entire area is well-kept and immersed in vegetation and gardening.

Trust

We put 100% trust in our guests and expect reciprocity and proper behavior.

We do not accept and/or allow the following:

  • Parties, riots, orgies, riots, etc.
  • Hosting more guests than booked in the reservation.
  • Drugs of all kinds
  • Pets are not allowed (sorry, we love pets and we have two in the private house, but in the units, we decided not to allow pets due to the difficulty in cleaning, allergies, sanitation and hygiene).
  • We do not rent “by the hour” and/or “for daily use”.
  • Smoking inside the rooms is prohibited, but in the yard is allowed.

Damages

In the case of damages that are not reasonable wear and tear, we must be notified and we will repair or replace as necessary, and if there is a cost, we will charge the guest.

Local laws

This is mandatory.

Communication and coordinating the check-in time

This is a must.

VAT: according to law.

  • Accommodation services – only Israeli citizens are subject to VAT.
  • Local services including mini bar – charge VAT to all guests.

Host statement

By posting this auction, I confirm that I am the owner and operator of the residential units that are advertised on this website, as well as the orders that will be made on this website are directly to the business and not through an external agency/brokerage. I confirm that apart from the VAT applicable to guests who are Israeli citizens, and a one-time cleaning fee for the booking, as detailed in the description of the listing itself, there will be no additional fees and/or charges after the purchases related to booking accommodation on this website.
